Trak was a well known producer of very good quality jumpers and in 2007 he was honoured by being… named 2007 Horse Magazine Sire of the Year. Trak’s pedigree is full of superb jumpers including the well known Polish stallion Poprad who competed in the Mexico and Munich Olympics. APH Sandra- by Kassiber (imp) out of Samartia (imp)). Sandra was from the famous “S” line family and her mother, Samartia one of the original Warmblood (Trakehner) horses to be imported to Australia (by Connie Kempter).She was dam to many successful dressage horses. APH Sandra is also a full sister to Grand Prix dressage Stallion APH Spegiel. Both are by the imported German stallion Kassiber. Kassiber himself was approved in Germany and was Beate Langels National level, three day eventer before leaving Germany for Australia.
Danzig Schatzi is by Grand Prix Dressage stallion Lutz. Lutz was selected as a premium colt at the Trakehner colt selection at Neumunster, West Germany in 1982, where it was commented that he was outstanding in both type and movement. Lutz also carried excellent jumping lines, as his dam line carries the blood of the legendary Abglan Schatzi is out of Glennis Barry’s GP dressage mare GB Saffron, Saffron was combined FEI Horse of the Year in 1996. Schatzi is a half sister to Hi Point Hanoverian GB Winchester (Weltmeyer)…owner/rider is Gary Lung and GB William, a very successful National show horse.
